Happy New Year!

I think my professor implied sunrises along with the sunsets.  But this one is the first sunrise of 2011!... I had to share.  This was taken at Boren Park in Capitol Hill, Seattle.  I was initially dissappointed at the fact that the sunrise occured further south than I imagined.  I looked up "best location for sunrises in Seattle" on the internet and a number of people said that Boren Park was it.  I can imagine that summer sunrises are great here when the sun is rising further north, which would be right in line with the great view that Boren Park has.  Though the sun rose behind some trees, the pre-sunrise was nice.  A pleasant surprise.  Photo #15:
